Completion Rules

Completion rules tell Training Viewer when a step is finished.

Common completion patterns include:

  • no validation;
  • button tap;
  • validated button tap;
  • grabbing an object;
  • reaching a position or proximity zone;
  • finishing a drag action;
  • waiting for a delay.

Choose the right rule

Use the rule that matches the training intent:

  • Use button tap for acknowledgement.
  • Use validated button tap when confirmation matters.
  • Use proximity when the learner must move to a place or object.
  • Use grab or drag end when the training requires manipulation.
  • Use delay only when the learner must observe a timed event.
